To: Power of Attorney}
Samuel Harbour}		Registered Nov. 30, 1838

I do hereby nominate and appoint Samuel Harbour my attorney in fact to demand 
and receive from one or any other person having possession of or liable for 
the same a distributive share which as deeded to me from one John Hollis, now 
Deceased late of Rutherford and State of Tennessee and all necessary receipts 
bonds and acquiesces for me and in my name to execute for and about the same. 
I do further empower my said attorney to sue for and receive the same or any 
part thereof whether the same be real or personal Estate real ____? for that 
purpose to make and employ one or more attorneys. Under him and to do all 
other acts and things necessary to accomplish the objects of this Power at my 
expense and charge. I do hereby ratify and confirm all of the lawful actings 
and doings of my said attorney in the premises as fully as if I were present 
and doing the same myself.

Personally appeared before me Rowland W. Altom, Clerk of the County Court of 
said County, Samuel J. Alexander & E. B. Harbour Subscribing Witnesses to the 
within Power of Attorney and after being Sworn, depose and say that they are 
personally acquainted with John Reed and Lydia Reed and that they acknowledged 
in their presence that they executed the within Power of Attorney on the day 
it ____? date.
