David Frields was born about 1802 in TN. He died on 2 January 1858 at the 
age of 56, in Weakley, TN. Weakley Co. TN Record and Will Book B 1840-1861, 
Historical Records Project, under WPA, May 26, 1838
#422 David Frields Will

We Mason A. Butler and J.L. Murrell being presentat the last illness of 
David Frields on the 2nd of January 1858 and requested by him to to bear 
witness to the disposition he wished made of his  property have reduced his 
expressed wish to writing in the following words as nearly as we can 
remember. Mr. David Frields said. That at my death I want my wife Catherine 
to take my property and keep it together so long as she lives or so long as 
she remains a widow single and that she keep it for the benefit of herself 
and my children"That" I wish no sale of my property at my death. "That" at 
the death or marriage of my wife I want all my property equally divided 
between my children. "That" I desire Allen Henderson to have his portion of 
the land where he was then living, and William Frields to have his portion 
where he was then living. 
Signed and subscribed by us on the 6th dau of April 1858.
