Blankingship and wife To George H. Hutson Know all men by these presents that we G. C. Blankingship and wife Martha Blankingship hath this day bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and convey to George H. Hutson his heirs and assigns the following described tract of land lying in the 4th Civil District of the county of White and State of Tennessee, and bounded as follows: on the south by the lands of Sanders McCormick, Jim Fisher, John Roland and by the lands of George Hutson; on the west by the land of A. Goodson; on the south by the Caney Fork River; on the east by the lands of Sanders McCormack; containing by rough estimation one hundred acres be the same more or less to covenant with the said Hutson that we are lawfully seized and possessed of said land and have a right to convey the same; we quit the claims as to all other persons but as to ourselves and heirs and assigns; we warrant and defend the title to the above described tract of land. For and inconsideration of five dollars we the said Blankingship and wife Martha Blankingship make the above transfer and warranty. Signed: G. C. Blankingship and Martha Blankingship the bargainers with whom I am personally acquainted and acknowledged and acknowledged the within named instrument for the purposed wherein contained and Martha Blankingship, wife of the said G. C. Blankingship, having personally appeared before me privately and apart from her said husband the said Martha Blankingship acknowledged the execution of said deed to have been done by her freely voluntarily and understandingly without compulsion or constraint by her said husband and for the purposes wherein expressed.
