This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Tamie Harding ==================================================================== JAMES KINNARD & WIFE to deed GREEN B SELVY For and in consideration of the sum of seventy five dollars to us in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged we JAS KINNARD and his wife MARY KINNARD do hereby bargain sell transfer and convey to GREEN B SELVY his heirs and assigns forever one tract or parcel of land lying and being in the 11th District of White County Tenn and on the South Mountains of the Board Valey and bounded as follows to wit beginning on a poplar in JOHN H ROBINSONS line running thence west 60 poles more or lep with the Cameron line to a hickory and two hickory pointers a corner of Wm (T) KINNARD land (thence) with a conditional line between said GREEN B SELVY and Wm T KINNARD with the meanders of a bluff about 180 poles to a maple and an oak pointer thence east with another conditional line between the same land 60 poles to a rock in said ROBINSONS line thence with said ROBINSONS line to the beginning containing 60 acres be the same more or lef to have and to hold this same unto the said GREEN B SELVY his heirs and assignes forever to warrant and defend a good title to said land given under our hand and seal the 9th day of November 1878.
