O'Conner & wife Note: Sidney Stanton and Dixie O Connor Dixie O'Conner To J. F. Wilhite Warranty Deed for and in consideration of the sum of nine hundred dollars, to us in hand paid by J. F. Wilhite the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged. We S. S. O'Conner and wife Dixie O'Conner. Have bargained and sold, and by these presents do transfer and convey unto the said J. F. Wilhite, a certain tract of parcel of land in 8th Civil District White County, State of Tennessee as follows: On the North by the lands of Turner and Smith, South by the lands of Tennie Cowden, East by the lands of Terry Wilhite, & Brock, and West by the lands of Turner and Cowden, containing sixty acres more or less. But it is intended by us to only convey four fifths of this land being our undivided interest. To have and to hold the said tract as parcel of land. With the appurtenances, estate, title, and interest thereto belonging to the said J. F. Wilhite forever. And we S. S. O'Conner & Dixie O'Conner do covenant with the said J. F. Wilhite that we are lawfully seised and possessed of said land in fee- simple, have a good right to convey it and the same is [unencumbered]. And we, S. S. O'Conner and wife Dixie O'Conner do further covenant and bind ourselves and our heirs and representatives to warrant and forever defer the title to said land to the said J. F. Wilhite against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever. Witness our hands, this 13th day of Sept. 1904. Witness S. S. O'Conner W. L. Dibrell his Dixie X O'Conner mark State of Tennessee, White County. Personally appeared before me, W. L. Dibrell, Clerk of the County Court of said county, the witness named S. S. O'Conner & wife Dixie O'Conner the [bargainers], with whom I am personally acquainted and acknowledged that they executed the annexed instrument for the purposes therein contained. And Dixie O'Conner wife of the said S. S. O'Conner having personally appeared before me, privately and apart from her husband, the said Dixie O Connor acknowledged the execution of the said instrument to have been done by her freely, voluntarily, and understandingly, without compulsion or constraint of her said husband, and for the purposes therein expressed..
