O'Conner To S. S. O'Conner Warranty Deed to 1/5 of 65 acres. I, W. A. O'Conner, have this day bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and convey to S. S. O'Conner and his heirs forever, for the consideration of one hundred dollars to me paid for my one fifth interest in a tract of land in the 8th Civil Dist. of White County, Tenn. Containing by estimation 65 acres, more or less, and bounded as follows: On the North by Smith, on the West by Hix, on the South by Hix, and on the East by Williams. To have and to hold the said tract as parcel of with its appurtenances to said S. S. O'Conner and his heirs forever. I covenant with the said O'Conner that I am lawfully seised of said land have a good right to convey it, I further covenant and bind my-self, my heirs as representatives, to warrant and deferred the title to said land to said O'Conner against the lawful claims of all persons whatever. Given under my hand the 10th day of August A. D. 1898. W. A. O'Conner Two-Twenty-Five Cents Reve. Stamps canceled on face of the above deed. State of Tennessee, White County Personally appeared before me, James A. Goodwin, a Notary Public in and for said county and Stated, the withier named W. A. O'Conner the [bargainer] with whom I am personally acquainted, and who acknowledged that he executed the withier Deed instrument for the purposes therein contained.
