For and in consideration of the sum of one thousand and fifty dollars cash to 
us in hand paid by W S RHINEHART, the receipt whereof we hereby acknowledge We 
JOHN SELBY and wife FRANCIS SELBEY have bargained and sold and by _____ 
presents do transfer and convey unto the said W S RHINEHART his heirs and 
assigns a certain tract or parcel of land in the 12th Civil District of White 
County State of Tennepee as follows: Beginning at a Locust at the corner of a 
Grave yard thence south 84* West 46 poles to a rock thence south 60* West 18 
poles to a rock on TABITHA WILLIAMS old line thence east with her line and 
passing her corner at 59 poles and with PERRY SIMS line in all 99 poles to a 
hickory (Sim's __?) Thence south with SIM'S line 146 poles to his corner 
thence west with TREADAWAYS line 26 poles to a rock thence with TREADAWAY'S 
line south west 35 ½ * west 41 poles to a rock thence with TREADAWAYS line 
north 50* west 23 poles to a black ____ at a road thence with the road south 
39* west 26 poles to a lage oak in the road thence south 44* west with the 
road 120 poles to a rock thence south 12* east with the road 7 ½ poles to a 
rock thence to the beginning containing 95 acres more or less being the same 
land anexed by W B COOPER and wife to me on Sept 18, 1903 and recorded in book 
43 page 461 & 462 to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with 
the appurtenances ____ title and interest thereto belonging to the said WS 
RHINEHART his heirs and assigns forever and we JOHN SELBEY and wife do 
covenant with the said W S RHINEHART his heirs and assigns that we are 
lawfully seized and possessed of said land in fee simple have a good right to 
convey it and that the same is unincumbered and we JOHN SELBEY and wife do 
further covenant and bind our selves our heirs and _______ to warrant and 
forever defend the title to said land to the said W S RHINEHART his heirs and 
assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever
