ELLA SELVEY
 to
JOHN SELVEY

This indenture made and entered into this the fourth day of June One Thousand 
Eight hundread and Eighty between ELLA SELVEY and UNA SELVEY of the county of 
White and state of Tennepee of the one part; and JOHN SELVEY of the County and 
state aforesaid of the other part (?) That for and in consideration of the sum 
of one hundred and fifty dollars to them ELLA AND UNA SELVEY in hand paid; 
have this day bargained sold and conveyed unto the said JOHN SELVY, a certain 
tract or parcel of land lying and being in the county and state aforesaid, on 
the waters of the CALF KILLER and in ___ Civil District of White County and 
containing fifty acres more or less beginning on a Black Oak running thence 
south 58 poles to a Black Oak and Black Oak pointers thence with the meanders 
of a Bluff to a popler and water Oak Pointer thence south 52*East 24 Poles to 
a Dog-wood and Dog-wood and Chestnut Oak Pointers, Thence with a conditional 
line with JOHN SELVY and ELLA SELVEY 54 poles to a Rock on MARY JO___ 
SNODGRASSES line thence North with her et line ___ poles to a rock thence 
north 24* west 35 1/2 poles to a ro___ thence west 126 poles to the beginning 
to have and hold to the ed JOHN SELVEY his heirs or assigns and ____ the said 
ELLA SELVEY and UNA SELVEY forever with all its appurtenances and hired 
tenents thereunto belonging which is warrant and will forever defend home and 
every person lawfully claiming in all or in any ____ in either law or equity.

In witness we have hereunto set our hands and seals ____ the presence of 
subscribing witnesses.

Personally appeared before me WM DINGE Clerk of White County Court ELLA SELVEY 
th____ within bargainer with whom I am personally acquainted on ___ 
acknowledged the due execution of the within deed, for the purposes therein 
contained; and UNA SELVEY wife of the said ELLA SELVEY also appeared before me 
separate and apart from her said husband and acknowledged the due execution 
the within deed truly voluntarially and understandingly without compulsion or 
constraint from her said husband and for the puposes therein contained.
