Willhite and Reuben Whitson Howard Farley, Trustee for S. & H. Farley, E. Willhite & Elmira Snodgrass and Simpson Farley have this day for and in consideration of the sum of thirty five hundred dollars to us in hand paid we have this day bargained and sold and by these presents do bargain and sell and transfer unto the President Directors & Co. of the Bank of Louisville Kentucky at its Branch at Burksville, Ky. The following described tracts or parcels of land lying and being in the County of White and State of Tennessee Civil District No 9 on Post Oak Creek and bounded as follows, to wit: 1st Tract, Beginning at some small hickories running thence West one hundred and fourteen poles to a rock, thence South twenty four poles to a small hickory & pointers, Thence South 60 degrees West twenty five poles to a black oak near a fence. Thence North one hundred & fifty six poles to a stump, with post oak bushes for pointers. Thence East thirty poles to a small black gum and pointers, thence North forty poles to a stake, in a field, Thence East forty poles to a hickory. Marows Corner, thence South 39 degrees East with Marows line fourteen poles to a Stake, thence South 43 degrees East forty poles to a post oak thence South fifty degrees East forty two poles to a small post or white oak, on N. bank of Post Oak Creek, thence South 1 degree West to the Beginning, Containing one hundred & thirty four acres more or less. 2nd Tract. Beginning at a double black oak running thence West seventy three and one half poles to a rock, thence North on a dividing line one hundred & fifty fine poles to a post oak, thence North one hundred and twenty four poles to the Beginning. Containing Seventy three & three fourths Acres more or less. Being the same tracts of land upon which the said William C. Willhite now lives, to have and to hold the Same to the President Directors & Co. of the Said Bank and their assigns forever. I the said William C. Willhite de covenant and bind myself my heirs and representatives to warrant and forever defend the title to said tracts of land and every part thereof against the claims or claim of all persons whatsoever, I further Covenant that said land is unencumbered and that I have a good right to convey the Same. We the said Reuben Whitson, & Curtis Mills, Covenant & bind ourselves to warrant and defend the title to said land against the claim of all persons claiming through or under us but no further or otherwise. We Howard Farley, Simpson Farley, E. M. Wilhite & Elmira Snodgrass, Covenant and bind ourselves to warrant and defend the title to said land against the clam or claims of all persons claiming through or under them but no further or otherwise.
