Hannah applied in White County, Tennessee, 17 Feb 1839. He was commonly known as Schoolmaster Davis and they married the fall of 1777. That Jonathan was killed about October 1780 in (or at) the Battle of Camden, in South Carolina. He entered the service in Rowan County, North Carolina. She had two sons, now living, Augustus Parks Davis b 10 Nov 1778 and Jonathan C. Davis b 28 Oct 1780. On the 4th of January 184? (0 I think), Hannah would be ninety one the 10th day of February next.
