C. KINNARD and wife spent Sunday with his mother, Mrs. BIDDIE WEAVER. Mr. and Mrs. TOM BUMBALOUGH and daughter, ELSIE, were recent guests of O.L. KINNARD and family. Mr. and Mrs RILEY BUMBALOUGH spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. JOE SNODGRASS. Mr and Mrs. J.T. SPARKS spent the week-end with relatives in McMinnville. Mrs. CAROLINE SELBY is visiting her son, CASTO SELBY, this week. Mrs. EDGAR SNODGRASS and little daughter were week-end guests of the MILLIGAN family here. The following pupils of this communtiy entered W.C.H.S. this week BORDEN WEAVER, CHARLIE BRADLEY, LOUIS BUTTRUM, McGRAW and KERMIT SPECK, MISSES VIRGINIA ROBINSON, EDNA PECK, MARY DELL and WILLETTE OFFICER. WASH LEE was elected as one of the Justices of the Peace for the 11th District. He had no opponent. LEE MILLIGAN and wife have moved into Rev. WASH RANDOLPH'S house at the foot of the mountain. A little daughter arrived at the home of Mr.and Mrs. CASTO BRADLEY last week. Mrs. POGUE of Fentress, county is here for an extended visit with her daughter, Mrs. CASTO BRADLEY. Mrs FLORRIE METCALF visited relatives here recently. Several of the men who are working on the highway are boarding with G.W. MILLIGAN, M. C. BRADLEY and JOHN D. KINNARD A number from this place attended the ice cream supper at Yankeetown Saturday night. A good rain fell here Saturday afternoon and evening. J.D. KINNARD and family spent Sunday with relatives at Blue Spring. Several from this communtiy are attending church at the upper Cherry Creek church. Mrs. RUSS SELBY is able to be up. J. D. SELBY and EDWINA KINNARD were out of school Monday because of sickness.
