HOWARD HOLLOWAY and family spent Christmas with their grandparents, Mr and Mrs LUM KINNARD. J.D. KINNARD and family spent part of last week with relatives at Blue Spring. PERSONAL MENTION Mr. and Mrs. WENDELL GENTRY attended the funeral of Mrs. GENTRY'S mother, Mrs. CLOUSE, who died at her home Tuesday night in the Northern part of the County. Mrs. EARLIE GENTRY and son, of Nashville, Mr. and Mrs. HOOVER SCOTT, Mr. and Mrs. ALPHA SELBY were the dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. J.M. SELBY Christmas day. BEECHER GEER of Pikeville, spent the holidays here with his family. Mr. GEER has been transferred to duties at Petros Tenn., and will likely move his family there this week. ODUS SELBY is offering for sale at his farm on Sparta Route 1, on Sat Jan 11, livestock, feed and farm epuipment. Mr SELBY is returning to Akron Ohio where he formerly resided; he has rented his farm to CLARENCE SELBY of Richmond, Ind. YANKEE TOWN SCHOOL NEWS JAMES LLOYD GEER and GEORGE RICHARD PENNINGTON spent Monday night with Miss SALLY GEER.
