First, I aim at that my funeral expences and all my debts be paid as soon after my death as possible and of my monies that I may die possessed of for may first come into the hands of my Executors. Secondly, I give and bequeath to my three daughters and their bodily heirs, all my real and personal effects. Thirdly, I give and bequeath to my youngest daughter, Augusta Two Bedsteads, beds and bed clouthings, and Bay horse four years old last spring, one cow and calf, one desk, Six of the largest hogs, and the crop now on hands, and one side saddle. Fourthly, I give and bequeath to Alta one side sadal. Fifthly, I give and bequeath all my land and personall effect to be divided between my third daughters equally. Lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint Abraham Saylors, my Executor. In witness whereof I do to this my set my hand and seal this 25th day of October 1865. Carroll State of Tennessee White County } April Term of County Court 1866 This day was produced in open Court a paper writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Easter Price Deceased late a citizen of White County was produced in open court and the and execution and publication thereof as such was proven in open Court by the oaths of D. M. Southard and S. L. Carroll the subscribing witnesses thereto for the purposes therein contained, who also made oath that the said Testator at the time of signing said last will and Testament was of sound and disposing mind and memory. Said will being decreed by the court to be sufficiently proven is ordered to be recorded & certified given under my hand at office in Sparta this 2 April 1866 J. F. Vass, clk. Then came Abraham Saylors the Executor appearing in said Last Will and Testament and undertook the execution of the same, and together with George P. Hampton entered into an acknowledged Bond in the sum on One Thousand dollars, conditioned as the law requires, and approved of by the court, and took oath prescribed by Law. Bond Know all men by these presents that we Abraham Saylors and George P. Hampton also of the County of White and State of Tennessee and held and firmly bound unto the state of Tennessee in the sum of One Thousand dollars, which payment unto and truly be made and done, we bind ourselves, our heirs. Executors & assigns jointly and severalby??, firmly by these presents to sealed with our seals, and dated the Second day of April 1866 where the said Abraham Saylors hath been by the Last Will and Testament of Easter Price deceased appointed Executor of all the goods & chattles, rights and credits of the said deceased. Now if the said Executor do make or cause to be made a true & perfect inventory of all the goods & chattles rights and credits of the said deceased, which have or should come to the hands possession or knowledge of the said Executors or in the hands or possession of any other person for him, and the sum so made, do exhibit or cause to be exhibited to the County Court of said County within ninety days after the date hereof, and the same goods & chattles and credits, and all other the goods chattles, & credits of the deceased at the time of her death, or which at any time after sall come to the hands or possession of the said Executor, or in the hands or possession of any other person or persons for him do will and truly administer according to law. And further do make or cause to be made a true and just account ??? said appointment as Executor within Two Years from the date hereof & all the costs and residue of the said goods & chattles and credits which shall be found remaining upon the said Executors accounts, the same being first examined and allowed by the court, shall deliver and payover unto such person as are entitled to the same pursuant to the true intent and meaning of the acts of the General Assembly concerning proving wills and granting Letters of Administration.
