I Mary Colwell Robenson of the State of Tennessee and county of White calling unto mind the mortality of the body and knowing that it is appointed for all once to die, Do make and ordain this my last will and testament. Principally I recommend my soul to the care of the Almighty God that gave it, not doubting but at the general resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God. And as trusting such worldly property as it has pleased God to bless me with I dispose in the following manner (First) I desire to be buried in a Christian manner, and that to be paid out of fifty dollars I have now in hand and what is remaining of that sum to be divided equally between my sons James and John Robenson I give one Rug to my daughter Mary Burke and my wearing clothes and my two beds and furniture I divided equally between my two daughters Mary Burke and Martha Wilson, one cow one two year old heifer one year old Steer I give to my son Alexander C. Robinson also to said Alexander C. Robinson I give one Brown mare now in his possession and one chest as is the cattle above named. Robenson was produced in open court, and thereupon the execution thereof was proven in open court by the oath of John Bryan and was ordered to be recorded.
