This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Dan Taylor < DanMabTay@aol.com > ==================================================================== Last Will and Testament of Rebecca Anne (McClarn) Taylor April 14, 1827 In the name of God Amen - I Rebecca Taylor of the County of White and State of Tennessee, being oald and infirm and now sick but of perfect mind and memory, and calling to mind that it is appointed for all once to die, do make, ordain, constitute and appoint this my Last Will and Testament. First. I remommend my Soul to God who gave it and my body to the earth to be buried in a decent Christian buriel at the discretion of my Executors. Secondly. The worldly estate with which it pleased God to bless me, after the payment of Dr. Madison Fisk, which is all the debt I owe, my will is that he be paid first by son Isaac Taylor out of the money which is in his hands, or which may come into his hands as the Administrator of James McClarn deceased of which I am entitled to as an heiress of said James McClarn. Thirdly. Of the residue of the money, if any in the hands of my son Isaac Taylor Administrator of the estate of my late brother James McClarn, decd., or which may so come to his hands after defraying my buryel expenses, my will is that my beloved Jane Irwin, wife of Alexander Irwin have twenty dollars of the same, and that my beloved daughter Margaret Irwin, wife of William Irwin have all the rest of said money that is coming to me in the manner above mentioned. Fourthly. I give and bequeath to my beloved sons James and John Taylor all my part of my deceased brother James McClarn's estate which is in the hands of John Severs or which may come into his hands as Administrator of the estate of the said James McClarn or otherwise, to be by my two sons James and John Taylor or either of them collected and divided equally between them or their heirs. Fifthly. I give and bequeath to my beloved Grand daughter Rebecca Taylor, daughter of James Taylor my bed and furniture bedstid & C. to be by my Executors delivered immediately after my decease. Sixthly. I make, ordain, consititute and appoint my beloved son-in-law William Irwin Executor to this my last Will and Testament, hereby disclaiming, disallowing and revoking all other and former wills and Executors by me heretofore made and so pronounce and decree this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament. In witness whereof the said Rebecca Taylor hath hereunto set her hand and seal and acknowledge the same in presence of the subscribing witnesses.
