Glass Deed of Trust from Anderson Berryman. Registered 28 March 1822. Know all men by these presents that Anderson Berryman of the County of Wiliamson and State of Tennessee have this day for and in consideration that my wife Kesiah Berryman and myself have [illegible] signed articles of separation given bargained sold and conveyed unto Samuel F. Glass of the county and state aforesaid in trust for the uses benefit and support of the said Kesiah during her natural life and at her disposal when she dies all my right title and claim to the following ascribed property to wit One negro woman [illegible] one negro man by name of Tom and one negro girl by name of Vina together increase forever and I also give to the said Samuel F. Glass and I also give the said Samuel F. Glass for the purpose aforesaid one horse saddle and bridals and two beds and clothes and I the said Anderson for my self my heirs and assigns doth forever warrant and defend the right and claim of [illegible] said bargained property [illegible] to the said Samuel F. Glass for the purpose aforesaid in testimony whereof I have the day and date above written have set may hand and seal October 29th 1821 Anderson Berryman (seal) Teste Robt C. Foster Jun. I. R. On which deed of trust was written The state of Tennessee Williamson County court January Term 1822 The within deed of Trust was produced in open court at this term and the execution thereof duly proven by the oath of Robert C. Foster a subscribing witness thereto and the same was ordered to be registered.
