This indenture made this fourteenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twelve between Josiah Wooldridge and Kezia his wife of Williamson County and State of Tennessee of the first part and Anderson Berryman and Kezia his wife of the other part. Witnesseth, that the said Josiah Wooldridge and his wife for and in consideration of the sum of nine hundred and sixty dollars to him in hand paid by the said Anderson Berryman and Kezia his wife the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained sold [illegible] conveyed and confirmed unto the said Anderson Berryman & his wife his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract of land containing two hundred and seventy two acres situate lying and being in the County aforesaid on Big Harpeth and State of Tennessee and bounded as follows to wit: Beginning on Henry Ingrams line, thence along the Ingrams line to Cottontons heirs line, thence along Cottontons heirs line to Dollarstons line, thence along the sd Dollarstons line to David Huston line, thence along the sd Hustons line to John Nicolas's line, then along the said Nicholas's line to the beginning. To have and to hold the said land with all and singular the rights benefits profits [illegible] and appurtenances of in and to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining to the only proper use benefit and behoof of him the said Anderson Berryman and his wife his heirs forever and the said Josiah Wooldridge and his wife doth for himself his heirs executors administrators and assigns do covenant and agree to and with the said Anderson Berryman and his wife his heirs and assigns that the before recited tract and bargained premises he will warrant and forever defend against the right title interest of all and every person or persons whatever. In witness whereof the sd Josiah Wooldridge and Keziah his wife have hereunto set their hands and seals the year and day above written.
