Trotter, J. P. of the county and state aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that the said Anderson for and in consideration that he is at present in embarrassed circumstances and some private differences have been created between him the said Anderson and his wife Keziah Berryman now to enable the said Isham A. Trotter to pay and discharge every debt which said Anderson may legally and justly owe and then the residue and then the residue and balance of this property hereinafter conveyed and transferred to be and [illegible] in the hand and possession of him the said Isham R.Trotter to award a [illegible] further use and support of the said Anderson Berryman the day and date written above has bargained transferred and delivered and by these presents doth sell bargain transfer and deliver unto the said Isham R. Trotter all his right and interest of in and to every negro now the property of the said Anderson together with their increase and the said Anderson for himself and his heirs do forever defend unto the said Isham R. Trotter all their right and title of and to the said negros and the said Anderson hath by the same presents sold and transferred to the said Isham R.
