His name appears on the 1840 list. He was born in Scotland in 1742 and lived to be one hundred years of age, dying in Union City, Tennessee in 1842. He was in the battle of Briar Creek. He married Sarah Feagley who predeceased him. In his old age he lived with Lycurgus McCall.
