That valuable farm on which the undersigned has resided for the last eight or nine years is for sale. It lies on the waters of Big Harpeth River in the county of Williamson, fourteen miles from Nashville near the village of Tank(?) on the Richland and Centreville Turnpike, nine miles from Franklin, the county seat of Williamson, and within two miles of the North Western Railroad now being constructed. The tract contains about four hundred and eight acres of first rate farming land; the county line between Davidson and Williamson runs through the Northwest corner of the tract. It was formally the well known farm of the late Wilkins WHITEFIELD (or WHITFIELD?)…Adjoining this farm is another tract of about two hundred acres of excellent land with a good residence for sale…Signed John T. HILL I wish to sell the farm on which I reside in Williamson county adjoining that advertised by Mr. John T. HILL, containing by recent survey one hundred and ninety-nine and a half acres of first rate farming land with a comfortable dwelling…The farm is well enclosed with good fences including about 700 yards of stone fence…I will sell this place separately or together with Mr. Hill's…purchasers are invited to call on Mr. Hill and examine the premises.
