Tennessee Will Book 9 pg 143 I, Allen Nichols, of Williamson County and state of Tennessee do make and publish this as my Last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all other wills by me at nay time made. First, I direct that my funeral expenses and all my debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of any money that I may die possessed of or may first come into the hands of my Executors. Secondly, I give and bequeath to my Wife, Eve Nichols all my stock of hogs, sheep, cattle, horses, household and Kitching furniture and all of my framing tools and crop and provisions that is on hand and all of my Notes, Bonds, and accounts of Every Description except what will pay my debts and funeral expenses. Thirdly, I leave to my wife Eve Nichols all of my real and personal Estate that is not other wise disposed of during her life for her support. Fourthly, I will and direct that all my Estate real and personal that remains at the death of my wife, Eve Nichols, be sold and equally divided between my children, Elizabeth Moss, Sarah Redford, Andrew T. Nichols, William Nichols, George Nichols, John Nichols, Joseph H. Nichols, Allen F. Nichols, Frederick S. Nichols and Mary Nichols. Lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint Eve Nichols, my wife, and my son William Nichols, my Executors in witness whereof I do to this my will set my hand and seal this 3rd day of May 1848.
