Will of Evy Nichols
October Term 1878
Williamson County, Tennessee

I, Evy Nichols, do make and publish this as my last will and testament hereby 
revoking and making void all other wills by me at any time made.  

First, I direct that my funeral expenses and all my debts be paid as soon 
after as death as possible out of any money that I may die possessed of or may 
first come into the hands of my executor.

Secondly, I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Jane Smithson my saddles 
and_____  And half of what money or notes I may have after P. W. Moss is paid 
for any trouble he may be at during my lifetime.

Thirdly, I do give and bequeath to my daughter Sarah Redford the remainder of 
my effects. 

 Fourthly, I do hereby nominate and appoint P. W. Moss my executor in Witness 
thereof I do to this my will set my hand seal this 10 day of October 1870.  
Signed and published in our presence and we have subscribed our names hereto 
in the presence of the testator.

Transcribers Note:  By the time Evy (Eve) made her will only her two eldest 
daughters still lived in Williamson County, Tennessee.  Her son William by 
this time was in White County, Arkansas.  Her son Joseph had moved to Perry 
County, Tennessee.  Youngest son Fredrick went to Montague County, Texas.
