JONATHAN TIPTON Lieut. Jonathan Tipton applied for revolutionary pension while living in Wilson County, Tenn., Sept. 25, 1832. He was born April 15, 1753, fifteen miles from Baltimore, Md. He enlisted in 1779, or 1780. He was a Lieutenant in Maryland Troops under Capt. Maury, Col. Thomas Guess and Col. Frederick Decker.
