Wilson Co News; pg. 2 on Wednesday, August 11, 1880
Capt. Fayette WALSH died at his residence in this village last  Saturday

night. He was buried with Masonic honors on Sunday. His wife and children

have our heartfelt sympathies. (Shop Spring)



WALSH - (Died) At his residence near Shop Spring on the 7th, Mr. M.L.WALSH,

after a lingering illness. He was buried on Sunday last with Masonic honors. He

leaves a wife and five children.

* Mason-Martin Lodge #111, according to his headstone at Hearn Cemetery.

Capt Fayette Walsh served in the 7th TN INF, Co D (Harris Riffles).
