I, Robert Chandler, of the County of Wilson and State of Tennessee, being sick and weak in body but of sound and perfect mind, and memory thanks be to God for the same, and calling to mind the mortality of this earthly life, do make, constitute and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following, Viz: First and principally I recommend my soul to God who gave it, and my body to the earth to be buried in such a decent and christian like manner as my executors hereafter named shall think fit and proper, and as to the temporal estate wherewith it has pleased God to bestow upon me, after all my just debts are paid, I give and dispose of in the following manner: I give and bequeath unto my beloved son Josiah Chandler all my working tools, and likewise give to my son in law Ruben Smithy one dollar, and likewise I give and bequeath to my two grandsons Baley Chandler and Eddins Chandler one mans saddle to be divided between them, and likewise I give to my son in law James Henderson one set of hakles and one dollar, likewise to my son in law William Eddins one dollar, likewise I give to my daughter Fanny Hardman one dollar, likewise I give to my son Isaac Chandler one dollar, likewise I give to my son Baley Chandler one dollar, likewise I give and bequeath unto my dearly beloved wife Partheny Chandler all and singular my household furniture, and one negro man known by the name of Will during her widowhood or lifetime and after her widowhood or life time, Josiah Chandler to have the negro man known by the name of Will, to him and his heirs forever, and likewise after my beloved wife's death all the household furniture to be equally divided between my dearly beloved sons Parks Chandler and Ryland Chandler. I do constitute and ordain my loving wife Partheny Chandler my executrix and Josiah Chandler my executor of this my Last Will and Testament. In witness where of I have here unto set my hand and seal this fifth day of August 1805. I, Robert Chandler, do hereby disannul and revoke all other will or wills heretofore by me made and do publish pronounce and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament in presence of the witnesses hereunto subscribed.
