Towit, I in the first recommend my soul to God who gave it and my body decently buried. It is my desire that my just debts should be paid. I have made sale of fifty acres of my land and if the bonds that I have should fall into the hands of my executors here after mentioned for my debts to be paid out of their hands and if not be paid out of my perishable property and (unreadable). I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife during her natural life or widowhood my land and plantation, tools, household and kitchen furniture and my stock of horses, cattle, hogs, sheep. I further give unto my beloved wife the balance of the money of these bonds if they should fall in the hands of my executors here after named for the purpose of raisen and schooling my small children to dispose of as she thinks best that way at the intermarriage or death of my beloved wife Liday it is my desire that my land, household, kitchen, furniture, stock of horses, cattle, hogs, sheep should be sold and equally divided amongst my children namely; John Whitson, Deborah Whitson, Roda Whitson, Isabella Whitson, George Whitson, William Whitson, Elizabeth Whitson, Margaret Whitson and lastly I do nominate, constitute and appoint Samuel Gray & Isaac Wright my executors to this my last Will and Testmanet I further empower my executors above mentioned to get a right to my land agreeable to the calls of the bond I have on Jonathan Downey. To wit where of I have here unto set my hand and affexed my seal the 17th day September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and nineteen.
