Dear Miss Kate:

Yesterday at the Library Georgia asked me about the enlistments from
Palestine for service in the Spanish-American War, 1898, that you want.

The above are the ones in the Engineers.

J. F. Maloney, Bryan, Texas, or Charles R. Stewart, Palestine, may be able
to furnish the names of those who were in Capt. Allen's Co., U. S. Vol.
Infantry. Maloney was 2nd Lieut. and Stewart was First Sergeant of that
Company.
