HOOD’S TEXAS BRIGADE lst Texas Volunteer Infantry Regiment Company H - Texas Guards One of two Anderson County units in the famous Hood’s Texas Brigade, Company H was organized locally and mustered into Confederate service for the duration of the war at New Orleans, Louisiana on June 24, 1861 by Lt.
