CO. G. (BUSSY'S) 20 TH TEXAS CAVALRY Excerpt from letter from Mary Sue Addington Vowell to Mary Addington Paul dated 1-8-1955. (both are now deceased) "Papa lost a clipping of Mrs. Deming's copy published in 1906, of the letter below, and Mr. Will Moore of Palestine loaned him the original letter and I made him a typewritten copy in 1916, and kept the carbon for myself. Mr. T. W. Moore had passed away by the time made I made the copy. He was Mr. Will Moore's father." (Copy) Hubbard, Texas Nov. 18 th,1906 T. W. Moore Palestine, Texas, Dear Sir and Friend, Enclosed please find list of names of Bussy's Company. There were perhaps a few others but I fail to recall them. All of these names went out with the Company when we first left the Country in the spring of 1862 or came into the camp as recruits from the County during the war. I have done the best I can in getting up the list. If you have it printed I would like you to send me a copy. I would appreciate it very much. I have no news.....(few weather and crop items here). Hoping to hear from you soon. As ever your friend, S. F. Dellis List of Co. G. (Bussy's) 20th Texas Cavalry (as originally organized) from Anderson County, Texas Officers: John Bussy, Capt.
