Perkins and in your reply you stated that you had more that one J. W. Perkins and on that account was unable to identify the one in question. I have a letter from his son, Mr. E. P. Perkins of Eustace, Henderson County, Texas, stating that his father, James Washington Perkins, or J. W. Perkins received his pension from Anderson County and that a Mr. Edd Briges testified to his eligibility. Mr. Perkins is buried at Mont Alba, Anderson County, Texas. Mr. Perkins is very anxious to have the unmarked grave of his father marked and I should appreciate very much if you, with this further information, would look into the records and let me have a report on your findings.
