TX JAMES ALLEN, 27 Succumbs Here James A "Buddy" Allen, 27, farmer of Route 3, Palestine, died Saturday afternoon in a local hospital after an illness of two weeks. Funeral services will be held in the Hassell & Foster Chapel with Rev. Marvin Johnson and Rev. Tom Potts officiating. Time and date will be announced later. The body will remain at the funeral home until service time. Allen was born on April 9, 1922, in Grapeland. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Louise Stovall Allen; two sons, Carroll and Jimmie D. Allen; one daughter, Miss Linda Allen; parents Mr. and Mrs. Willie A. Allen, Sr.; three brothers; George Allen of Whitehouse; Willie Allen, Jr., Tyler; Dick Allen, Route 3, Palestine; two sisters; Mrs. Leona Maxwell, Tyler; and Mrs. B. F. Hendon, Palestine. Pallbearers will be J. D. Crawford, Con Smith, Harvey Price, Amos Wilkerson, Edgar Fitzgerald, W. C. Willis, Andrew Fitzgerald, W. C.
