CRAWFORD FATHER OF LOCAL MAN BURIED IN HOUSTON COUNTY January 15, 1936 Funeral services were held Tuesday at Livelyville Cem. in Houston County for Green Franklin CRAWFORD, father of Jesse Crawford, Palestine barber, who died suddently early Tuesday morning at the home of a son near Jacksonville. Death was attributed to a heart attack....Mr. Crawford was well known in the Slocum and Grapeland Communities. He is survived by seven sons, Jim & G.A. Crawford of Grapeland, Tom Crawford of Rotas, Jesse Crawford of Palestine and Frank Crawford of near Jacksonvile; Three daughters, Miss Baella Crawford of Huntington, Mrs. Jolly Garrett of Dallas and Mrs. Victoria McCardy of Misquite.
