M. L. DAVIS FORMER LOCAL WOMAN BURIED ON AUSTIN 11 March, 1936 Funeral services were held on Austin Monday for Mrs. M. L. DAVIS, 90. Aunt of Mrs. Nannie Morris, Perry Street resident, Mrs. Davis was a charter member of the First Christian Church of Houston. She was born in Perryville, KY. and came to Palestine with her family at the age of 8 years. She lived in Palestine until shortly after the Civil War, then moved to Houston to make her home. ***
