L.D and Mrs. S.E Funderburk. She was taken with black jaundice on Saturday Sep 23rd and died Monday, the 25th at 1:30am. All that faithful physicians, loving relatives and friends could do brought no releif. God had called her and she went home to dwell with Christ forever. Ada was fifteen years of age. She professed religion and joined the Baptist church at the age of ten, and lived a calm, sweet christian life until her death. She was buried in Concord cemetery, Rev. J.V Kelley conducting the funeral services. She will be missed, in the community, in the schools, the home, the church, by friends, but most of all she will be missed by parents, brothers and sisters; there is a vacant place in the home that can never be filled. But father, mother, brothers and sisters, let us look to ehaven. There we see her watching and waiting to welcome us home, where there will be no more sad partings.
