January 13, 1936
R. F.  HOPPER, 52, of Neches dies of pneumonia today. Monday following an 
attack of pneumonia, He was the native of Anderson County and had lived in 
the Neches Community almost all his life.
Funeral arrangements are being held up, pending word from relatives in Calif.
He is survived by his wife, three sons, Robert, JR. of Lodi, Calif., Charles 
& Dicky Hopper of Neches; Three daughters, Mrs. Dorthea Leach of Neches Mts. 
Mary Louise Cox of Lodi, Calif. and Miss Margaret Hopper of Neches; One 
sister, Mrs. Henry Keys of Crandall and 2 grandchildren
