J. PIERCE COUNTRY FARMER DIES FOLLOWING AN INFECTION February 10, 1936 T. J. PIERCE, 62, farmer of the Liberty Community on Northern Anderson County, died at 6 a.m. Sunday at his home from complications of a shoulder infection. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Mr. Willford of Athens and the Rev. Mr. Calvin Nelson , pastor of the First Baptist Church of Palestine, officiating. Burial will be in Liberty cemetery. Survivors are his wife and 15 children.
