Miss Starr was a graduate of Palestine High School with the Spring term class of 1934 and recently had been doing post graduate work at Elkhart.... Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Monday at Chambers Cemetery..... Miss Star is survived by her parents; Two brothers; Willis Starr of Lufkin and Clifton Starr of Palestine; Two sisters, Mrs. Ardelle Henderson of Palestine and Miss Sophronia Starr of Palestine, her grandparents, Mrs. Frances Payne and Mr & Mrs T.
