SMITH, 76, a former resident of Anderson County, died at 6:45 a.m. today in a Dallas Clinic following an illness. He made his home at 1114 Lima St. in Dallas. Funeral service are to be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Guiceland Cemetery.... MR. Smith is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary E. SMITH of Dallas ; Six sons, R. C. Smith of Conroe, Travis C. Smith of Houston, Luther L. Smith of Hutchins, Delma Smith and Donald Paul Smith, both of Dallas, Five daughters, Mrs. Reba Blackwell of Palestine and Mrs. Ineta Christian, Mrs. Edna Sharp, Mrs. Dela Ivy and Mrs. Henryetta Richburg, all of Dallas. Two sisters, Mrs. Ima Stovall of Palestine and Mrs. Anna Guice of Grapeland, 38 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. ***
