T. THRASHER 15 April 1936 J. T. THRASHER, 83, pioneer of the Poyner Community near Henderson Anderson County line, died Tuesday Night at his home.... Funeral service were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Poynor Cemetery..... Mr. Thrasher was a native of Mississippi, but moved to the Poyner Community 66 years ago. He is survived by his wife; Four sons, Frank and A. J. Thrasher of Poyner, Tom W. Thrasher of Huntsville and J. W. Thrasher of Frankston; Four daughters, Mrs. Laura Hamilton, Mrs Ada Camp, Mrs. J. M. Martin and Miss Mae Thrasher, all of Poynor.... ***
