Baxter, a well to do farmer of Archer county, was foully murdered by the use of carbolic acid last Tuesday night, and A.J. Sanders, a prominent businessman has been arrested for the crime. The crime was committed to cover a previous criminality and which was soon to be exposed, and Sanders, it seems was in love with another girl, and this exposure would have blighted his hopes. The arrest has been made and there is considerable excitement.
