His death had been expected for sometime, as he had been in feeble health for a long time and complications had arisen which usually prove fatal to one of his years. Mr. Longley came to this county in 1878 and has lead a very active life since coming. He has been identified with the stock raising interests of the county. He had amassed property valued at $40,000. He was buried under the direction of the Masonic lodge at this place. He leaves a large family and many friends to mourn his death.
