Hudson Curator Instrumental witnesses W. Barrett Travis J. H. Money Joseph Baker Acting Judge Ast witness Jeremiah Cichrane Asst witness James Perry Department of Brazos The foregoing is a True copy of the original which is this day placed on file in the office of the Primary Judge of the Jurisdiction of Austin which I Joseph Baker, acting Judge of the first instance of said Jurisdiction certify with assisting witnesses with whom I authenticate San Felipe de Austin January 18th 1836 Filed for record: April 15th 1839 Additional Comments: Elmira Susan Farley was the daughter of Nancy White and Henry F. Farley who were among the earliest settlers in Texas. Henry Farley died before his land claim was processed, and was completed by Frederick M. Grimes after his marriage to Elmyra Feb 1, 1837. This deed was before she was married. Her mother, Nancy, remarried to ? Hudson -- so not sure if this H.C. Hudson was any relation to her husband or not.
