McIntyre mcintyre@ktc.com LOCATION: The shallow gravesite is located close to the large oak tree where the crime occurred, in a remote pasture near Julian Creek, about 4 miles east of Bandera. Date of Death: July 25, 1863 Inscription: “Remember, friends, as you pass by; as you are now, so once was I. As I am now, you soon will be; prepare for death and follow me.” Coston J.
