BAASEN CEMETERY BASTROP COUNTY, TX PAIGE AREA Baasen Cemetery is untended, inactive and located on private property once owned by Henry and Martha Baasen. It is located east of Paige near the Lee County Line in a pasture way behind the house. No Baasens are buried here as they are in the Friendship Cemetery near Hwy 290 and Cnty Rd 151. Most of the gravemarkers are lost. Those buried here are Craft Clark, baby WilliamHenry Clark, Wooleys, Whites, Winklemans and Scarbroughs. Hardshell Baptist Church was next to the cemetery in the 1870s. Two markers were found: W.H.C. (William Henry Clark) no dates no dates C.C.
