The plant shut down at 11:00 pm but would give a warning blink 15 minutes prior to shut down so people would have opportunity to go to bed. Shutdown time was later moved to midnight and later to 6:00 am. M.R. Fuller purchased the Milling business in 1907 and expanded the light business to most of Seymour. He changed the name to Seymour MIll, Elevator and Light company. Mr. Fuller ran the Mill and Mr. S. Gorman ran the Light plant. 1914 - the Plant was sold to Mr. Price. He kept the mill for a year and sold to Mr. H.M. Wilson. 1917 - The Farmers National Bank took the mill over and employed George Burkhalter to operate the plant. 1923 - The Light Plant was sold to The Texas Power and Light Company.
