The rosary, led by Deacon Jim Poole, was at Oakcrest Funeral Home on 28 February, after visitation. Mass was on Friday, 1 March, at St. Mary's Church, 1401 Washington Ave., Waco, Texas 76701, with Father Joseph F. Geleney, Jr., Pastor, then burial was at St. Mary's Cemetery in West, Texas. She was born 21 July 1917 at Bomarton in Baylor County to August Marak and Mary Kohut Marak. She moved to Waco in the early 1940s to attend Providence Nursing School, then 4-C Business College. She worked at Providence Hospital, Dr. Tom Husbands's office, and Jo Ann's Fabrics store. She was a member of St. Mary's Parish and KJZT for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Kluck, and three brothers named Jerome, Eugene, and Robert Marak. Survivors, all of Waco, are her daughter Nancy Coker and her husband Gary, sister Mrs. Robert (Gustine) Vickery, two grandsons named Matt and Mason Coker, nieces and nephews. The family thanked Providence Hospice, Meals on Wheels, and St. Mary's Church for their assistance. St. Mary's records show the marriage of John August Kluck and Regina Ann Marak was on 16 August 1947 before Father Floyd Bielamowicz. The groom's parents were Otto Kluck and Elsie Berg Kluck. He was baptized 31 October 1915 at the Lutheran church at Perry, Texas. Regina was baptized 26 July 1917 at St. John's Catholic Church in Bomerton, Texas. John A. Kluck died 13 December 1995. He had become a Catholic. His funeral was at this same church, St. Mary's in Waco, and he was buried at St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Additional Comments: I was acquainted with Regina for many years as a member of St. Mary's Parish. I am not related. I noticed many named Marak in your cemetery.
