Used by permission. John B. Henington set aside this one acre plot of ground on his home- place farm in 1895 as a burial place for members of his family. The location of the farm is 8 miles east of Holland, Texas, turn east off highway 95 onto FM 2268 which is the Vilas-Val Verde road. At this writing in 1985 it is known as the Roy Doskocil Farm and borders on the south side of FM 2268 with the east line joining the V. C. Whittington Farm. J. B. The chain link fence was erected around the grave sites about 1935 by the Blair-Stokes Hardware Co. of Bartlett, Texas. Arrangements for the fence were made by H. S.Henington of Chicago, Illinois, son of H. S. and Henrietta; and Clarence William Henington of Bartlett; son of William Isaac and Sally, who faithfully tended the cemetery throughout his life. There is a stone marker at each of the grave sites except for Jay J. Henington who was the last burial there in July of 1983, and most probably will be the last family member to be buried there.
