Used by permission. James Moses Cowan 1834 - 1888 Tenn 1851 Texas Appears to be approximately 12 burials in the cemetery, but just Mr. Cowan's grave marked with a headstone. There are two home made headstones, made out of cement and mesh wire with the name of "Hood" scratched on a piece of the broken head stone There is a grave outside the fenced cemetery which is a cement block that reads "Mandy, 1956 - 1967". It is not determined if the grave is that of a child or an animal. This cemetery is marked with a Texas Historical Marker, Texas Sesqui- centennial 1836 - 1986.
