Clerk, Bell Co. 62/591 $ .75 The State of Texas} County of Bell } Whereas, on the 24th day of September, 1884, C.M. Henderson executed and delivered his two promissory notes for the sum Of $320.00 each, payable to the order of Hiram B. Rogers, bearing 10 per cent interest from date, and secured by the vendors lien upon two lots on tracts of land, one of 62 1/2 acres and one of 2 acres out of the E. B. Reed survey in Bell County, Texas, said notes and said land being fully described in a Deed executed by Hiram B. Rogers and wife to Chas. M. Henderson and recorded in Book No. 49. page 369. of the Records of Bell County, Texas, and whereas said two notes were endorsed, transferred and delivered by Hiram B. Rogers to Jo L. Wallace and by Jo. L. Wallace to W.S. Carter; and whereas said notes and all interest thereon have been fully paid' now therefore know all men by these present, that I, W.S. Carter the legal owner and payee of said notes, for and in consideration of the above recited premises, do hereby declare said notes fully paid and satisified and the vendors lien created thereby cancelled, and forever annulled, and do hereby release relinquish and forever quit claim unto the said Charles M. Henderson his heirs and assigns, all the rights, title and claim in and to said two tracts of land created by virtue of said notes. Given under my hand this the 17th day of January, 1888 W. S.
