THE STATE OF TEXAS,}
COUNTY OF BELL } KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENT:

That I, W.A. McCain of said County and State have this day bargained and
Sold by these presents do hereby sell, convey, and deliver to C.M. Henderson
of the County of Bell and State of Texas, for and in consideration of the
sum of Nine Hundred and Fifty Dollars, to me in hand paid as follows:

Five Hundred and twenty five dollars of which has been paid in hand, for
the remaining Four hundred and twenty five dollars the said C.M. Henderson
has executed his two several promissory notes, each for the sum of two
hundred and twelve dollars bearing interest at 12% per annum payable, on,
Jan 1st. 1884, the other, Jan 1st. 1885. The said notes holding as vendor's
lien upon the lands hereby conveyed.

Have granted, sold and conveyed, and these present do grant, sell and convey
unto the said C.M. Henderson of the county of Bell, in the State of Texas,
all that certain tract or parcel, of land situated, lying and being in the
County of Bell, and State of Texas, more particularly described as follows,
to-wit:

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described premises, together with all the
singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in any wise belonging, unto
the said C.M. Henderson his heirs or assigns forever. And I do hereby bind
Myself & My heirs, executors or administratior, to warrant and forever
defend all the singular the said premises unto the said C.M. Henderson his
heirs and assigns, against every person whomsoever, lawfully claiming or to
claim the same, or any part thereof,

WITNESS My hand, this the 25th day of January A.D. 1883.

considerations therein expressed.
